Fortunately for Link, he fell into the lake at the bottom of the tower. He got out of the murky water, and dried himself off.
Meanwhile, up in the tower, Ganondorf had grabbed ahold of Zelda by the neck. He didn't know how he had forgotten to take the Triforce of Courage from Link, but he wasn't going to make the same mistake with Zelda. Ganondorf lifted Zelda off the ground, and used his magic to withdraw the Triforce of Wisdom from Zelda, then, chuckling to himself, he promptly threw Zelda out the window.

Zelda swam to shore and lay on it, gasping for breath. After she had recovered, she turned and dove back in; she'd lost her light bow. Some time later, she surfaced again and called desperately to Link, "It's gone! I can't find it!"

"Is this what you are looking for?" Ganondorf sneered at the duo, and lifted up the bow. With a cackled he snapped it in half and threw down the pieces.

Zelda only sat with her face in her hands and stared at the broken bow. Eventually she sighed and shook her head. "How am I going to get that fixed?" she mumbled slowly.

Link took out his Master Sword. "I don't quite know, so we are going to have to search for someone with the ability to repair it." He ran into the abandoned town.

Zelda picked up the pieces and ran after him, thinking that she should probably get some daggers or something while she was at it.

(Let's see...Mondays...homework and dance class. Tuesdays....homework. Wednesdays....Awana. Thursdays.....homework. Fridays....piano lessons. Eek.)
Amber was wandering around...worried about not getting a response. Maybe I just heard some animals in the bushes. No it couldn't be. I heard talking... Suddenly she saw two figures coming toward her. She got her bow and arrow ready, just in case they were dangerous. "Who goes there?" She said in a strong but slightly shaky voice.

(Wow. Awana?)
Zelda glanced at Link, asking him if it would be safe to reveal themselves.

"Just some travellers." Link wasn't going to give away the quest to just anybody.

Zelda reached for her bow, and sighed, having forgotten it was broken. "Bad timing to encounter a possible-enemy," she mumbled softly to Link.

"Here. You can borrow this spare Hero's Bow I have." Link handed his spare bow to Zelda.

Zelda accepted it, thinking about her light bow. Who could fix a magical bow? she thought. She fitted an arrow to the Hero's Bow and drew it, prepared to face an enemy.

Link drew his Master Sword, prepared for anything. He had learned his lesson since his first encounter with the Helmaroc King.
